Don't just jump in and create a website.
Did you know that nearly 95% of all websites fail to achieve anything? Yes 95% this is not made up Google it if you like.
So! Before you start building your website you should first establish a few things. (good idea to get a pen and paper and actually spend a little time on this)
- Why am I building this website?
- Who is it for?
- What do I want it to achieve with it?
- What do I want it to say?
- What kind of budget am I prepared to spend?
Seems a bit obvious doesn't it? Well the majority out there fail to establish all this and jump right in. NOW here is the good news, your competition probably fall right into this group. So by taking the time to sort out the foundation work before you create a website you dramatically reduce the chances of failure and place yourself miles ahead of your competition. Once you have established the why, who and whats then is is time to plan plan plan.
